Kilimanjaro Safaris

The Kilimanjaro Safari is fabulous!  This 20 minute "Jeep" tour guides guests through African landscape driving along part paved and part dirt roads - at times the ride is a little bumpy and dusty adding to authenticity.  Here you will see African wildlife interacting!  Various animals share the same environment - you will see no fences or bars as in a zoo.  Of course predators are kept separate from possible prey, however the illusion is nearly perfect.  The Kilimanjaro Safari is one my favorite attractions at the Animal Kingdom!

Conservation Station

At Conservation Station you'll get to learn about how you can help to conserve the environment and what you can do to create animal habitats where you live.  Also, discuss animal care and research with veterinarians and animal researchers and meet a few of the animal residents. There are demonstrations with trainers and a petting zoo - letting guests get up close and personal.  The ride to Conservation Station on the Wildlife Express train is a great relief for the feet.  This scenic journey is a great addition to your trip.

Pangani Forest Exploration Trail

African A walk through the Aviary will introduce guests to exotic birds in free flight.  You will also come across an aquarium with a research lab. One of the Greatest features of the Exploration Trail is a family of Hippos with an underwater viewing area!   However, The Highlight of the Pangani Forest Exploration is the gorilla sanctuary.
