Inside Spaceship Earth is a ride that will take you through the history of science and communication. The ride comes to an end presenting the hope that the world is one global community and that communication is the key. This is a great ride for all ages. It moves rather slowly and is a peaceful way to end the day. However, don’t make the mistake of skipping the evening show Illuminations 2000 – Reflections of Earth to ride the Spaceship Earth ride. Sure – there won’t be any lines (don’t you think there’s a reason for that) Just beyond Spaceship Earth you will find shops and fast food. Also - look for pin trading! This new hobby is “all the rage.” Pins you purchase can be traded with other guests as well as Disney Cast Members (employees). It is a great way to meet people and come home with truly special souvenirs. HINT: You may want to purchase Disney Trading Pins at your local Disney Store before your trip – this lets you save “souvenir” money for the park and adds variety. Only “Disney Trading Pins” are traded. Rare pins are highly sought after and are extra special. One of the hottest selling pins is the Canada pin (get this one before you go). I do not have one – if you end up with an extra Canada pin and would like to give it to me – I would love to have one! J |
